Atlassian ConfluenceGroup Overview

Atlassian Confluence

The Atlassian Confluence group is the first active Climakers product family and the current center of the public documentation set.

It is designed for organizations that need to move Confluence knowledge into customer-controlled Markdown without losing operational clarity. That includes page-level evidence capture, documentation continuity, migration planning, governance, and AI-ready content preparation.

Compatibility: the current Atlassian Confluence product group supports Atlassian Confluence Cloud only. Confluence Server and Confluence Data Center are not supported yet.

Platform availability: released builds are currently available for macOS and Linux only. Windows builds are not part of the current released artifacts.

Operating model: both Confluence tools are built around customer ownership, clear-text Markdown output, and read-only interaction with Confluence. They do not create, modify, or delete Confluence content.

Commercial products: compare the active subscription plans at store.climakers.com.

What this product group solves

  • page-level export and inspection when exact scope matters
  • full-space export when the requirement is a governed documentation estate
  • native payload retrieval for engineering, troubleshooting, and migration analysis
  • customer-controlled storage and downstream processing of exported knowledge
  • continuity, retention, governance, and AI-ready content preparation without format lock-in

Active tools in this group

acp2md

acp2md is the single-page tool.

Use it when the workflow starts with one page ID, one page title, or one pasted Confluence URL and the export needs to stay exact.

It is optimized for precision: targeted export, native retrieval, structure analysis, and evidence capture around one exact page.

Commercial editions: Hobbyist and Multiple Seats.

acs2md

acs2md is the documentation-estate tool.

Use it when the workflow starts from a whole Confluence space and the output needs to remain useful as a portable documentation set.

It is optimized for scale: hierarchy preservation, internal-link rewriting, changed-only synchronization, and repeatable documentation-estate workflows.

Commercial editions: Professional, Small Team, CI/CD Automation, Enterprise, Enterprise Pro, and Enterprise Plus.

Shared operator model

Both tools follow the same safe operating sequence:

  1. activate the license
  2. configure Confluence credentials
  3. run doctor
  4. discover the right scope with space list and space pages
  5. review the command surface with tree or tree --short
  6. run either the targeted page workflow or the full-space workflow
  1. choose the tool that matches the scope
  2. activate the license and configure credentials
  3. run doctor
  4. discover the correct target with space list and space pages
  5. run the export, retrieval, or analysis command

Choose the right scope

  • Choose acp2md for one exact page.
  • Choose acs2md for one full documentation estate.
  • Choose both when teams need exact page work and repeatable whole-space coverage.
  • Read acp2md vs acs2md when both tools could fit.
